The Addictions and Community Services Worker gives students the theoretical and practical skills to work in high-pressure environments. Students learn conflict management and resolution skills, health information regarding drug and substance abuse, and treatment planning. The Addictions and Community Services Worker program has been designed to prepare the graduate for an entry-level position in any facility that deals with alcohol and drug abuse clients.
Community Health CareAn intensive program designed to prepare you for such positions as Long-Term Care Aide (geriatric), Home Support Healthcare worker, Resident Care Attendant, Nurse’s Aid and Special Needs Assistant.
The excellent training provided by highly qualified instructors, and the experience acquired during the seven weeks of practicum will equip you with the knowledge and confidence for a career in Care Giving.
