Marketing and SalesAirline Customer Service RepresentativeThis entry-level Airline Customer Service program would appeal to individuals desiring to work as an airline customer service agent or passenger ticket agent at the airport. This course will provide the basic skills required for those interested in working in an entry level position in the airline industry.
Students may enhance the Tourism Certificate program by combining it with the Flight Attendant Pre-Employment Diploma to increase employment options with airlines.
Hospitality Co-Op CertificateThe World of hospitality is interesting, diverse and varied. As a consequence, students wishing to join this popular and growing industry will find the certificate to be an excellent spring board to gaining knowledge and understanding about the industry as a whole. Upon completion of this program, students will have the skills and knnowledge to gain an entry-level position within the hospitality industry. Should students choose to continue on with their studies the certificate ladders into the Hospitality and Resort Management Diploma with transfer credit into a select group of Colleges and Universities. The Certificate in Hospitality consists of six modules, each being approximately 45 hours in length.
The module introduces the student to the various components of the hospitality industry and seeks to give an overview of all related aspects currently existing in this interesting and diverse business. Because of the global nature of hospitality, international business concept are examined in detail giving the student a clear understanding of the various aspects of international business practices and procedures required in this growing market.
TechnologyComputer Office EnvironmentThis computer applications program is essential for those students who would like to build and enhance their computer skills for today's job market. It is highly recommended to begin your studies at CTC with this program.
You will be using Microsoft Office for National and International IC3 and Microsoft Office Specialist certification. In addition to these courses you will also take an interesting variety of seminars and short courses focusing on study habits, how to work in a team, team building, conflict resolution, delivering effective presentations just to name a few that are helpful in an office environment.
This program uses the computer applications program designed & developed by CCI Learning Solutions Inc. for Microsoft Office.
The training will provide skills transferable to as many sectors and segments of the office environment. Specific training has been included in the program to open as many doors and employment opportunities as possible for the graduates.

As a consequence, students wishing to join this popular and growing industry will find the Hospitality Cruise Business Diploma to be an excellent springboard to gaining knowledge and understanding about the industry as a whole. The computer components of this certificate course are considered essential in building and enhancing digital literacy skills for today's job market. Upon completion of this program, students will have the skills and knowledge to gain an entry-level position within the hospitality industry as well as earn the world's first validated standards-based training and certification program for basic computing, internet knowledge and skills and Microsoft Office Specialist certification from the Microsoft Corporation.
Tourism Co-Op Certificate
This entry level program is designed for those wishing to enter the industry and work with airlines, hotels, travel companies, cruise lines as well as in a variety of other positions in Tourism related businesses.
This training program usually includes the first four courses listed below: Fundamentals of Travel and Tourism, World Destinations Geography, Domestic Tariff and Ticketing, SABRE GDS training (airline reservations) and 3 SABRE seminars. The program length will vary from 13 to 14 weeks in the classroom and 260 hours of paid co-op work experience in a related company. In some cases the courses included in the program may vary due to the schedule and may contain a combination of the above noted courses and a combination of International Tariff and Ticketing, Trans border Ticketing, Consolidators and Net Fares, Accounting for the Tourism Industry, Professional Selling Skills, Service Across Cultures, Career Days, or Career Development.
Travel and Tourism Advanced Diploma 4 Star CITC endorsedThis CITC endorsed program is designed for individuals that wish to enter the exciting tourism industry and work with organizations like airlines, hotels, travel companies, cruise lines, tour wholesalers, car rental companies, tourism boards, travel agencies, cruise sales specialists and a wide range of other Tourism related businesses. CITC endorsed 4 stars, one of the higher levels a program can achieve for entry level training in Canada, this program will provide you with leading edge knowledge that is demanded by today’s Tourism employers. Our full-time training includes 600 hours of on-campus training and the most valued 160 hours of off-campus practical work experience arranged by College professionals.
This comprehensive 760 hour program will prepare you for a diverse range of career opportunities in the growing world of Travel and Tourism and will prepare you well to work toward certification in the Tourism industry through the national CITC certification program and the internationally recognized International Airline Ticketing Association (IATA).
