If you love working with children, this is the program for you! The Early Childhood Education program prepares you to work effectively with children up to 12 years of age by providing you a practical approach to child care and early childhood learning.
In the Early Childhood Education program, you will learn how to design programs and educational activities for children. You will also develop valuable skills in communication and team building. In addition, you will learn about child development, family systems and building relationships with children. Work place safety is also covered. You will also have opportunities to apply your knowledge and gain first-hand experience in the workplace when you participate in two work terms.
After graduation from the Early Childhood Education program, you may go on to work in preschools, day care centers, home child care and other child care settings.
Do you envision yourself as a business leader? The Financial Management program is designed to respond to the financial needs of the ever-changing marketplace. You will acquire a solid understanding of practical accounting and management tools sought by today's employers. The program provides relevant skills and training in functional and diverse fields that include financial analysis and information systems management.
If you enjoy working directly with people, young and old, while doing fulfilling, satisfying work that is in high demand right now, you may want to consider training to become an Intra-Oral Dental Assistant. The Intra-Oral Dental Assistant program will provide you with a variety of skills, allowing you to assist a dentist or hygienist, educate patients, and prepare dental records, plus many other responsibilities.
You will learn to prepare patients for treatment and assist dentists during procedures. In addition, you will learn to prepare dental materials, perform infection control procedures, and instruct patients on oral care. You will also learn to polish teeth, apply fluoride and topical anesthetic, take impressions of teeth and perform some orthodontic procedures. Training in dental software applications and office administration is also covered. After graduation, you can expect to work in a variety of dental settings including a dental office, the dental department of a hospital and with the public health department.

If you are interested in a career as a caregiver, the Personal Support Worker program at CDI College will help you develop the knowledge, skills and values to be successful in this rewarding field.
The Personal Support Worker program at CDI College combines theoretical and practical training in classrooms and labs so you build a solid knowledge base and relevant skills to work with patients and residents who require care. You will study human development and common diseases that may affect patients. You will learn about professional ethics, hygiene and asepsis as well as communication and teamwork. In addition, you will learn the techniques to assist clients living in hospital environments, extended care facilities and psychiatric settings. First Aid and occupational health and safety are also covered.
As a graduate of the Personal Support Worker program, you can expect to find employment in a variety of different settings and related fields including hospitals, medical offices, extended care facilities, acute care facilities, group homes and home support work.
This program is very intensive and covers many aspects of the legal profession. Students will not only enhance their keyboarding and transcription skills, but will also receive hands-on training in the two major word processing programs. Students will learn the proper procedures and terminology used in the legal system. Subject areas will include wills and estates, real estate, corporate and commercial law, civil litigation, and family law.

You will be trained to work with Microsoft Visual C#.NET, SQL Server, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Access and Microsoft Office. The program prepares you to write the 3 exams of the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) in damage insurance for individuals: Automobile, Household and Legislation.
